Lady Charger outside hitter Emily Miller played with all of the savvy of an upper classman in 2002. Her efforts have resulted in not only a first team All-GSC spot but Miller was also named GSC Freshman of the Year. She was fifth in the GSC in kills (493) and led her team to third place in the East Division. Miller is the second UAH player to win this honor, the first was Ellen Lafiore in 1998. Miller was joined on the All-GSC teams by senior libero Cathryn Sterling and sophomore hitter Kristian Kleminsky who both earned spots on the All-GSC second team.
