Junior distance runner Amy Phillips made reservations for her second trip to the Division II National Championships after a stellar performance at the Butler Twilight Invitational in Indianapolis last weekend. Phillips placed third in the Steeplechase with a school record time of 11:06.82. Phillips' qualifying time has her currently ranked third in the country in the event.
Meanwhile, Brooke McDaniel won the 10,000 meter race with another school record time of 37:11.95. McDaniel's time was also a provisional qualifier. She is currently on the bubble for making it to the national championships, ranked 18th.
