The UAH track team blew away the rest of the field at the Sewanee Indoor Invitational on Saturday. The Lady Chargers scored 141 points to win the meet. The closest team to UAH was second place Mars Hill with 57 points.

The Lady Chargers set six new school records in the meet. LaMardra Moore set a new record in the 55 meter dash, winning the race with a time of 7.50. Moore also finished first in the long jump with a record distance of 5.38 meters. Brooke McDaniel won the 1500 meter run with a school record time of 4:53.94. She also won the 3000 meter run with another record time of 10:37.53.

Bethany Holder set a new UAH mark in the high jump, clearing a height of 5 feet, 4 and a quarter. The final record of the day to fall was in the 55 meter hurdles, where Govonna Maddox won the event with a time of 8.89.
