Sheila Ray

Sheila Ray has been a member of the UAH Athletics family since 1993. She joined the department to assist with fund-raising for the UAH Athletics Association.

Ray was born and raised in Central Illinois. She is a 1971 graduate of Illinois State University where she earned a BS degree in Elementary Education. She was an elementary school teacher in River Forest, IL, and also taught in the Army's dependent school system in Germany in the 1970's. Her background includes involvement in community volunteer work. Ray moved to Huntsville in 1990 from El Paso, TX.

Ray has two children, Michael and Sara, who both live in Huntsville. Michael, a UAH alumnus, is a component engineer/programmer and Sara is a marketing and business development coordinator. Sara and her husband, Bobby Morshed, have one daughter, Ali.
