Jordan Erickson's (Port McNeill, B.C.) first start as a Charger was a woeful one. Despite making a respectable 34 saves, the Charger offense never got an opportunity to get started. In all, UAH took 16 penalties for 32 minutes.
Princeton got on the board late in the first on a Landis Stankievech goal. Seamus Young made it a two goal advantage with a power play tally midway through the second. Grant Goeckner-Zoeller and Brian Carthas added goals in the third period for Princeton, who went to 4-10-0 on the season. Princeton goaltender Eric Leroux stopped all 27 Chargers shots for the shutout victory.
The Chargers fall to 6-5-1 on the year. They will take the next two weeks off for Winter Break before heading to Omaha, Neb. to take on Nebraska-Omaha on Dec. 29. The Chargers return home Jan. 6 for a two game series against College Hockey America foe Air Force.
