ATO Active-Alumni Day 03/28/2008
On April 12th our chapter is holding the 4th Annual Active-Alumni Day. At 11am that morning we are going to have a Actives vs Alumni Flag Football game and a cookout following the game. That night we are having the Active-Alumni Founders Day Formal at the Marriot Hotel in Huntsville near campus.
ATO Parents Day and Basketball Dribble 03/27/2008
This Saturday is a big day for our chapter because we are having Parents Day at noon and then the ATO Basketball Dribble that night. For Parents Day we are going have a meet and greet luncheon at the ATO house on campus at noon. Later that night we are traveling to UNA to begin the annual Basketball Dribble at 8pm. We will then spend the next 10-12 hours dribbling a basketball 66 miles to UAH to raise money for the Red Cross.
ATO wins UAH Leadership Awards 03/26/2008
On Mach 25th, UAH held an annual leadership award banquet in which student leaders were honored for dedication for the community. Alpha Tau Omega dominated other fraternities by receiving all the academic awards 2 years in a row. Our chapter has the highest GPA among the fraternities on campus for 17 consecutive years. Also at the banquet, the president of our chapter, Josh Langford, was honored by being named for Whos Who Among American Colleges and Universities. This is one of the most highly regarded and long standing honors programs in the nation, having earned the overwhelming respect of college faculties and administrations. Our chapter takes tremendous pride in these awards.
ATO wins Intramural Volleyball 02/28/2008
ATO continued its success in intramural volleyball this past weekend by winning the 2008 intramural indoor volleyball tournament. ATO has won 4 out of the last 5 volleyball tournaments in the last 2 years.
