There are TWO awards ceremonies for the student winners. Both are very important, and should be attended. If you have to miss, please designate someone to pick up your awards for you, such as a teacher or parent.
Special Awards Banquet: The first awards ceremony is specifically for the special awards donated by companies, organizations and universities. It may include any number of awards, ranging from medallions to certificates and money to book awards or even calculators and briefcases! The ASEF Special Awards Banquet will be held at the von Braun Center (VBC), located in downtown Huntsville (see the von Braun Center web page for directions) on Friday evening, April 4th. See the student agenda for the time. Please have your ticket ready.
Grand Awards Ceremony: The second awards ceremony is specifically for the category placements and the scholarship awards (like trips to Dauphin Island, Space Camp and UAH Scholarships). The ASEF Grand Awards ceremony will be held on Saturday morning, April 5th in the UAH Administrative Science Building located on Ben Graves Drive, UAH campus. See the student agenda for the time.
