Memo to Regional Fair Winners from
the ASEF Director
Team Projects: ASEF 2008 accepts team projects. Team projects are defined as any project with two and no more than three contributing student members. All team projects (both Junior and Senior divisions) are grouped into one category labeled "Team Projects", regardless of subject matter or grade division. Information on project categories.
Judging: Judging will take place on Friday, April 4th. The time for your Division's judging is listed in the student agenda. Students are encouraged to stand by their projects to answer Judge questions. If a student is not present to defend their work, the project will be graded down by the judges with a score of zero for oral presentation. This procedure for judging the oral defense of the research would most likely affect the Category placement of the project but would not eliminate the student from the competition.
Special Awards Banquet: The ASEF Special Awards Banquet will be held at the von Braun Center (VBC), located in downtown Huntsville (see the von Braun Center web page for directions) on Friday evening, April 4th. See the student agenda for the time. Please have your ticket ready.
Grand Awards Ceremony: The ASEF Grand Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday morning, April 5th in the UAH Administrative Science Building located on Ben Graves Drive, UAH campus. See the student agenda for the time.
