1. LOGPARS User’s Manual Analysis by Cynthia McPherson
    Text-based.  This project involved primarily text analysis with recommendations for improvement.  (See also #5 below for a similar kind of project.)

2. Waste Not: Ideas for the 'Greening' of Technical Publications by Sandy Spencer
    Research-based.  This project focuses entirely on research of interest to document production.

3. Testing Adobe InDesign for Custom Textbook by Margaret Zaice
    Experiment-based.  This project experiments with software for a particular application, drawing on secondary research to back up conclusions.

4. Single Sourcing for Small Business by Susan Hackett
   Practical Application of Research.  This projects attempts to solve specific problems in a client's help files by a combination of research about single sourcing and experimentation with the software (RoboHelp).

5. Revising Textbook Chapter for Publication by Katherine Elmore
    Comprehensive editing.  This proposal illustrates a project that edits a substantial document for publication, including additional research and additions to content as well as all levels of edit, including copyediting.

3. Project Report on Editing POTW (3rd ed.)  Chapter 4 Library and Documentation by Katherine Elmore

4. Excerpt from analysis of a manual, applying research and solutions (before and after) - Space Academy Lab Experiment Manual by Kim Pruett Wells

5. Creation of the WhiteWorx Website by Beverly White.  This was a continuation of a 501 project that developed guidelines for site development.  The 502 project created the site and wrote a report for the client explaining the process.

6.  An E-Newsletter Template for Turner Universal Construction by Kate O'Neal.  This was a continuation of a 501 project that determined the feasibility of the company starting an e-newsletter.  The 502 project developed a template for the e-newsletter and established publication guidelines.
